Psar Chaa Old Market Siem Reap
The open-air “Old Market” (or Psah Chas) in downtown Siem Reap is similar to other Asian-styled markets as it caters to locals and tourists who visit the city. Here you can find a variety of souvenirs, such as T-shirts, silverware, silk, wood and stone carvings, Buddhas, and other items.

It is also known for its variety of local Cambodian cuisine (Khmer, etc.) and has a number of food stalls that sell a variety of rice, dried fish and pork sausages, vegetables and fruits, and a Cambodian specialty Prahok, a type of fermented fish paste. Some stalls sell baguettes and spiced frogs, which are believed to be a carryover from the French colonialism era.
