Wat Phra That Doi Tung
Wat Phra That Doi Tung is a Buddhist temple located on Doi Tung Mountain in Mae Fah Luang District, Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. The temple is situated on the top of the mountain, at an altitude of 2,000 meters above sea level, and offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

The temple is renowned for its stunning architecture, which combines elements of Thai, Burmese, and Chinese styles. The main stupa of the temple is said to contain a relic of the Buddha and is a popular destination for Buddhist pilgrims.
In addition to the temple itself, the Doi Tung area is known for its natural beauty, with lush forests, waterfalls, and a cool, refreshing climate. The area is also home to a number of hill tribe communities, which produce traditional handicrafts and agricultural products such as coffee and macadamia nuts.
The Doi Tung Development Project, which was initiated by the late Princess Mother of Thailand, focuses on promoting sustainable development and improving the living standards of local communities. As part of this project, the area has become a model for sustainable tourism, with an emphasis on ecotourism and community-based tourism.
