Wat Chalong Phuket
Wat Chalong Phuket is the most important of Thailand’s 29 Buddhist temples in Phuket. It is located in the south of Phuket Island and was built in 1837 to honor two monks who helped protect the island from a Chinese rebellion.

The temple complex comprises several buildings, including a 60 meter tall pagoda, and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Wat Chalong is a popular tourist destination and is well worth a visit when in Phuket.
