Siam Paragon Cineplex Theater
The movie theaters in Bangkok are on another level (compared to back home). They are big, grand, and over the top! This is the Siam Paragon Cineplex Theater. This multi-story complex is located on top of the Siam Paragon Shopping Mall.
With 16 screens and 5,000 seats, a bowling complex (with a live DJ), and karaoke, it is Thailand’s largest movie theater complex. It also includes Thailand’s largest IMAX Screen – Krungsri IMAX. This is where we saw “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”.
UNREAL! Eat your heart out Vegas! Had to look up what “4DX” is … y’all should try to take in one of those shows, and report back, before y’all come home. Bet Jumanji would be a good one!
Actually we did catch one of the Hunger Games movies on 4DX a few years ago and it was amazing! The seats are very much like an amusement park ride (lots of movement). The only negative part would be the screen size – its fairly large but not as large as their other screens. The next big thing coming here will be IMAX-VR – opening at Siam Paragon Bangkok in February 2018. I’m sure it will be awesome!
