Shinkansen Bullet Train – Osaka to Hiroshima
Today, we embarked on a journey from Osaka to Hiroshima, a trip made efficient by the speed of the Shinkansen Bullet Train. Our choice to travel this way was intentional, as it allowed us to reach Hiroshima in just 1.5 hours, maximizing our time for a significant visit to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
While we looked forward to this visit, we also acknowledged a sense of unease, given the historical events that took place there. It’s not an easy subject matter to confront, but we believe in the importance of understanding and remembering history.
