As soon as we entered the museum, we were struck by the sheer scale and intricacy of the building. The Sanctuary of Truth is entirely hand-carved from teak wood and stands on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand. The carvings depict scenes from Hindu and Buddhist mythology, as well as Thai folklore, and are executed with remarkable precision and attention to detail. It’s an incredible blend of temple and castle, showcasing Thailand’s amazing intricate craftsmanship and artistry. It’s one of those places that will leave you speechless.
