Mae Fah Luang Garden
Mae Fah Luang Garden, also known as the Royal Agricultural Station Angkhang, is a botanical garden located in the Angkhang Mountains in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. The garden was established in 1987 by the Royal Project Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable development in Thailand.
The garden covers an area of over 1,000 acres and features a wide variety of plants and flowers, including temperate flowers such as rhododendrons and azaleas, as well as tropical fruits and vegetables such as strawberries and coffee. The garden is also home to a collection of native orchids, and has a large greenhouse showcasing a variety of exotic plants.
In addition to its botanical attractions, Mae Fah Luang Garden offers scenic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, with a network of hiking trails that allow visitors to explore the area’s natural beauty. There are also several restaurants and cafes within the garden, serving locally grown and produced food and beverages.
