Donsao Village Laos Along Mekong River
The Donsao Village in Laos is located on the Mekong River across from Sop Ruak. It does not require a passport/visa and can be visited by a long tail boat.
The village is a popular destination for tourists who want to experience the local Lao culture and see the beautiful handcrafted items that are available. And if you’re really brave, you can try their homemade Lao whiskey, bottled with scorpions and snakes!
On our way back to Sop Ruak, we were able to view a beautiful sunset.
