Centara Hotel Hat Yai

When researching all the different hotels in Hat Yai, Centara Hotel Hat Yai came up as the best option based on its location – right in the heart of Hat Yai. The vicinity around the hotel is full of department stores, local shops, markets, restaurants, and Thai & Halal street food. A few famous local markets are within walking distance (such as Kim Yong Market & Santisuk Market)

We stayed in their Premium Deluxe room which was clean and adequate but nothing fancy. We found the Centara Hotel Hat Yai to be a bit old and dated when compared to other Centara properties. The biggest positive for this hotel is its awesome location!

As the gateway to the south, Hat Yai’s proximity to the Malaysian border has made it a historically important trading post that still draws in visitors to this day. The southern Thai hub is the region’s centre of transportation, commerce and tourism, and is home to Centara Hotel Hat Yai, located in the heart of the city. In addition to offering short- and long-term accommodation for business and leisure travellers, the landmark hotel is also a leading venue for corporate events.

The hotel comprises 248 rooms, apartments, suites and self-catering apartments ranging from 25 to 76 square metres with great city views. Each room features amenities and services to anticipate guests’ needs while apartments are particularly spacious, featuring living and dining areas as well as a kitchenette. With full-service facilities, guests can satiate their cravings at the hotel’s four dining venues including a stylish lounge with live music, use the well-equipped fitness centre, terrace swimming pool and sauna, or completely unwind at Cense by SPA Cenvaree.
