Ban Salawat Village Wat Temple and Market
After we checked in to Lanna Thai Villa, Steve Wilke (owner) took us for a walk around Ban Salawat Village. We visited the Village’s Wat Salawat Temple, and the local market.
Ban Salawat Village is located approximately 74 km. (45mi.) in Thoeng District southeast of Chiang Rai city, the administrative center of Chiang Rai Province. Chaing Rai is the northernmost province of Thailand bordering both Laos and Burma (Myanmar).
